Currently doing a PhD in Translational Health Research, and a member of the Out with Cancer Study project team. I am a registered nurse who has worked in areas such as haematology oncology, palliative care, critical care, and community health. I have a M.Counselling, M.Clinical Practice, GradDip Nursing (Clinical Nursing), GradCert Oncological Nursing, and GradCert Critical Care (Emergency). Trained in the UK, qualified as an Enrolled Nurse General, then a Registered General Nurse working in Cardio-thoracic, and ICU/CCU. Migrated to Australia in 1986 where I met my husband, and we have been together for 33 years, married in Iceland.
