Sowmya Cheruvu

Dr Sowmya Cheruvu is a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Linear Clinical Research Institute, Perth Western Australia. Her subspecialty interests are in melanoma, gynaecological oncology and early phase trials. She completed her core Medical Oncology training in Western Australia and subsequently completed a clinical and research fellowship in Melanoma and Renal cancers with a focus on Immuno-Oncology at The Royal Marsden Hospital in the UK. She has a keen interest in education and mentoring, currently working in the role of Director of Clinical Training at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. She is actively involved in clinical trials serving as Principal and Sub-Investigator on gynaecological, melanoma and first in human trials.
