This session invites First Nations people with a lived experience of cancer, their families and interested health professionals, cancer researchers and policymakers involved in their care, to participate in a focused discussion to brainstorm and identify solutions for achieving the cancer survivorship priorities of this group. This session will report on the initial results of a First Nations Survivorship Delphi study to identify cancer survivorship priorities, and how important and achievable those priorities are. Identified barriers to achieving survivorship priorities will be reported, and potential solutions to these barriers prioritised during this session.
This breakfast session will be a facilitated discussion around the care of the older person with head and neck cancer, designed to engage the audience about the considerations, challenges and opportunities to improve interdisciplinary care in relation to the older person with cancer who has multiple comorbidities and is taking multiple medications.

Description: The multidisciplinary management of patients with advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC) is entering a new era. The symposium aims to provide delegates with an understanding and an appreciation of the contemporary management of patients with advanced CSCC in regional and rural Australia.
The symposium will feature the perspectives and real-world clinical experiences from a medical oncology, radiation oncology and surgical point of view. Delegates will have an opportunity to interact with the panel during the symposia to further their understanding in advanced CSCC management.
