Shiho Rose
Shiho Rose is an early career researcher at the Daffodil Centre with experience in behavioural science. She completed her PhD in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle, which focused on exploring the experiences of stigma in people diagnosed with lung cancer. At the Daffodil Centre, Shiho is involved with the Generation Vape project, a national study of the awareness, perceptions, and use of e-cigarettes in adolescents and their parents, secondary school staff and young adults. She also continues her research on addressing the public stigma associated with lung cancer and smoking. Areas of interest include lung cancer, tobacco/vaping control and social norms in tobacco/vape use.
