Marissa Ryan
Marissa has experience as a cancer pharmacist in both Australia and the United Kingdom. She completed her Master of Health Management in 2013 and Graduate Diploma of Clinical Pharmacy in 2018. Her interests include: the safe and effective use of oral cancer therapies, developing the role of the cancer pharmacist, telehealth, strategic planning, and quality improvement projects. Marissa has been a guest tutor and lecturer at local universities and is Co-Chair of the COSA Cancer Pharmacists Group Executive Committee and a member of the COSA Global Oncology Group Executive Committee. She is currently Cancer Team Leader/Acting Consultant Pharmacist in the Pharmacy Department, Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane and is part way through completing a PhD through The University of Queensland on the development, implementation, and evaluation of a cancer pharmacy telehealth model of care.
